My teaching philosophy: In teaching, I hope to identify each person’s goal and individual aesthetic and coax them in that direction. Classes and workshops exist as a combination of sharing specific skills with the class (wheel throwing, carving, handbuilding, making glazing more fun, and more), while showing how that information is pertinent to each person.
I teach pottery and give workshops at several art centers in the Philadelphia suburbs, including the Community Arts Center in Wallingford, PA, and at both the Main Line Art Center and the Wayne Art Center on Philadelphia’s Main Line. I am interested in teaching workshops at other locations. Please contact me: 610-892-0386, BobDeane@Verizon.net or click here to use our contact form.
